It's always such a joy to me when I get to photograph my close friends' families. This family of all girls (even the dog) + Dad is just lovable on every level. The ladies are so sweet, thoughtful, creative, and just a load of fun to be with! Even the dog, Stella, is packed with personality. Dad comes to life during the sessions and provides comedy and humor, and the connection between these six lovely, lovely people is just so evident. We went just down the street from their home, to lovely Bear Creek Regional Park and its endless trails and beautiful views of the foothills, Cheyenne Mountain to the south, and the city of Colorado Springs to the east. The breeze was blowing, but we kept moving to stay warm. We even got some fabulous and goofy shots of Dad with his amazing belt buckle!
